October 6, 2012 is the day when the best Toastmasters speakers of Central and Eastern Poland meet to amuse and delight their audience in two contests - Humorous Speeches and Table Topics. The contests are the next stage after internal club contests, before the Division M contest, and later up to the District level in Bonn, Germany in November.

Located nearby the Wilanowska metro station - an easy walking distance. The room can host up to 110 people and we're planning to fill it with lots of cheering Toastmasters and guests.

The venue is available thanks to the awesome folks at the Łazarski University. Cheers!

Where to eat?

The campus itself has two restaurants where you can enjoy a substantial lunch. If none of them are your type, and you have a car at your disposal, there's Galeria Mokotów nearby (Wołoska 12) with a regular food court and other restaurants.

Accommodation

We'll try to setup the agenda so that if you're arriving from outside Warsaw, you can still comfortably travel back to your home town. However, if you need or feel like staying overnight before or after the contest, contact [javascript protected email address].

Afterparty!

After a day of competing, comes a night of celebrating. We'll be heading to the excellent Hybrydy Club. We've a large reservation there from 20:00 until... who knows. Enjoy!

About Toastmasters International

Logo Toastmasters International

Since 1924, Toastmasters International has been recognized as the leading organization dedicated to communication and leadership skill development. Through its worldwide network of clubs, each week Toastmasters helps more than a quarter million men and women of every ethnicity, education level and profession build their competence in communication so they can gain the confidence to lead others.

By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge. They learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer. They plan and lead. They give feedback — and accept it. They find their path to leadership.

Other areas of the M Division are organizing their contests on the same date. If you're nearby, you're welcome to visit!
